I havent seen this video in years What was great about this single was Little Stevie wanted to focus on making a statement and a call for change. It wasnt about charity. It didnt receive the same widespread attention like 'We Are The World or Do They know its Christmas' but he did get sleuth of artists from rock rap punk and r&b to record the single to get the message out. | |

Your right I would have to literally pause this video every 5 seconds just to jot down musicians who did or didnt participatedin the recording . They say the late Gil Scott Heron was on this record but I dont see him in this video | |

He did another song on the album: Let Me See Your ID. It's good, even if it does sound a bit dated now.
I also like the fact that it was a call for change, not for charity, like you were saying above. What was good about the Sun City record, I thought, was that it was something performers actually knew about and could say something about, whereas rock stars aren't always the best people to debate the causes of global poverty and hunger. It was a cool line-up, too!
