Well yea I would say Prince too because I wasn't always a fan...just became one a couple of years ago and I was like why did I not know this man exists..I mean knew he did but I really never paid any attention to him. And now it's like overload trying to get my hands on every single thing related to him.

A couple of months ago I discovered Betty Davis. She wasn't huge but man she was a complete bad-ass.

I love discovering artists I've never heard of. There are so many good ones that never hit the mainstream.

^ Yup, same here--brand new to Betty Davis. Now, Prince I stopped listening to in '96 but I've "rediscovered" him in recent years to my listening pleasure. wink

yes radiohead ...i have only recently bought almost everything they have done...i had '' ok computer '' from the 90s and i thought it was a great album but they lost me with kid a...but i recently started listening to them again and the new album ...i discovered what a great album '' in rainbows'' is...not all their stuff works for me but they are adventurous musically and thats what i like...

and david bowie is indeed the 70s version of prince in the 80s...
