D'ANGELO VS. VAN HUNT: WHO's BETTER? D'Angelo came first with great music, dropped two really good albums, then let drugs ruin his career. Van hunt has three pretty awesome albums & is very underrated....[judging off of what they've released thus far] who's friggin' music is better? |

D'Angelo for me, but I dig Van too. He's definitely one of those cats who should be bigger than he is.
And D is a tragic story. JERKIN' EVERYTHING IN SIGHT!!!!! |

It could've been D'Angelo, but he fucked his career up and allowed Van Hunt to quickly and easily surpass him! So, Van Hunt gets my vote. |

Van Hunt for me, although I do like D'angelo's music. I'm ashamed 2 admit that I only heard Voodoo 2 weeks ago. 4 some reason I was never interested in hearing it but I picked it up and I'm glad I did. |

I love the dirty, murky vibe of Voodoo. Brown Sugar is the album I don't care for. |

Ya'll laughing! But not only is it true, pretty soon, artist like Van Hunt, Bilal, etc. will be the only artist that will even remotely be able to bring something that reminds you of what Prince used to do. Anytime most of you fans are only waiting to hear outtakes of his 80's stuff, and you pretty much bash any of his new stuff, that's not good a sign. People are greatly in denial when it comes to Prince now days..... |

Uh you had me then you lost me.
You do know Curtis Mayfield, Jimi Hendrix, Sly Stone, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Donny Hathaway were the real forerunners, right?

I've like alot of what Prince has been doing lately [it's just not as good as his 80's stuff]. Mostly everybody else on her seems to have major issues with his new stuff though. That's the reason I'm saying this. Prince is in the twilight of his career & we don't want that to happen, but that's life.... |

Why are you bothered by what people are saying about Prince's current music? If you like it that's all that matters. |
