In case you don't know, when the contestants sing a song on the show, they sing it in the studio and release it on iTunes. So with the season ending tonight, out of all the studio versions this year which one has been the best? I'd go with Pia's "All By Myself" I remember seeing her sing this on the show and i said that shes gonna win. I'm shocked she got eliminated when she did. Singing wise, shes the best one and this song proves it. She sounds incredible and I get goosebumps whenever i listen to her sing the chorus the first time.

On another note, who do you think is gonna win? Scotty or Lauren? My vote goes to Scotty. This whole season I liked Scotty and Pia (i actually liked Scotty when he auditioned). So whats your favorite studio song and whos gonna win tonight?

Not famliliar w/the studio songs as distinct from the performances, but Haley was tops most of the time for me, so, it's this, closely followed by Beautiful from Carole King wk.

Think she made a mistake choosing the Zeppelin song, there's a lot of America who wouldn't have even heard it before.

Scotty's gonna win. He's got the Gramma's and six year olds vote

Though with Lauren having made it this far -especially after murdering Unchained Melody- she's got some cause for optimism.

I loved Haley too. Haley, James, Pia and Thia were my favorite...James reminded me of Adam Lambert a lot lol Oh btw scotty is soooo boring

I know Randy and J Lo didn't like this one but I loved it.

Gosh, Haley looks a lot older with her hair straightened, you could tell she was real shocked at the result last week, I think her self-confidence counted against her in the vote against the schweet-country-gal Lauren.

James was too whiny, and I didn't like the faux-metal vibe he brought.

I miss Casey the most, he changed it up like I haven't seen a contestent do before. Though okay, his Nirvana song was pretty awful.

Scotty's baritone impressed me at first, or maybe it was shock, but he's become pretty bland and predictable as the show's progressed. I wish he's stop holding the mic like a penis, it's like at moments he's gonna deep throat the thing My girlfriend squirmed a little when he sang Kenny Rogers, so I guess I know that he is doing something right.

I think the show would work better if once they narrowed it down to final 10 they all stayed in and had to keep singing each week. Voting would be cumulative, the standings would change each or most weeks depending, and the competitors would have to really earn it. Then final show would determine final placings.

I guess I am bored with seeing just two of them, they really don't have anything left to prove, and some people don't tune in when their favorite is gone anyway.

OMG, is anybody watching American Idol right now? TLC is onstage performing some of their songs. This is going to sound weird, but I didn't even know that they were still together, since Lisa "Left Eye" Lopez passed away. It's good to see that they're still out there doing their thing.

I didn't care much for Haley. Didn't like her raspy singing voice, and her "Look at me, aren't I the cutest and the best singer ever?" attitude. Her diva attitude was a real turn-off for me. I was glad when she got the boot, truth be told. Good riddance. I'm sure she probably will wind up with a recording contract anyway (not that I would spend money on her CD or anything like that).

I don't remember Haley smudging her lipstick. Her ego did seem to grow more as the show went on.
