What was that movie "With Honors" about?

I've never seen it but here's a description:

With Honors (Snap Case)

Joe Pesci gives his most likable performance to date, elevating this predictable comedy-drama. A stuck-up Harvard senior (Brendan Fraser) believes his life is ruined when an educated bum (Pesci) finds his thesis. The bum wants to trade each page for a favor during a harsh New England winter. Of course, the student learns more from his new friend than from the halls of Harvard. Some silly, melodramatic parts including an unbelievable classroom lecture make this comedy tiring at times. But the cast and dialogue ring truer than the tired plot. A solid first feature from Alek Keshishian (Truth or Dare), who graduated with honors from Harvard. --Doug Thomas

this one so deserved to be on Celebration. it totally helped complete the reserve trend "Rain" had begun with getting her back in good graces with US pop radio (until Bedtime Story, at least) and it was just after her (height of) backlash had hit a fever pitch with the Lettreman appearance. yet, somehow, it managed to get all the way to number 2 on the US pop charts? Also the william orbit mix, the vibe of it totally laid the groundwork for where she would eventually go with Ray of Light, her last 'bona fide classic' (critcally speaking)...i love this tune, though the video was so lazy as it was a cut rate version of rain and a trailer for that bad movie.

plus, the b-side of this single is her single BEST live recording of all time - the amazing, ecstatic, universal, amazingly arranged (and sung) "WHYS IT SO HARD!!!!!!!!!" all time classic fo sho.

This song,as well as the 'Something To Remember' compilation, was an obvious attempt to "soften" her public image,to prepare for 'Evita'.Safe, mellow songs that were designed for the mainstream.

I agree about the live version of "Why's It So Hard".To this day,I still insist that the "Girlie Show" band was the best band that she ever had.She needs to get another band like that for future tours! How about a funky bassist? To make the songs SIZZLE!! I'm tired of the techno/electronica sounds that we hear on her tours. It's so cold and robotic. For the next tour, let's get some funk players who could take these songs to new heights!!

lol....sorry Timmy,for going so off-topic lol
