What year did Uncut get canceled? 2005?

Yeah around that time. We'd be at school discussing the vieo like the Nelly Tip Drill and those other cheap made videos. Our favorte was "I Ain't Got No Panties On."
But on the real, BET's programs were still watchble untill aboout the middle of the 2000s. They were still showing videos (which at the time MTV and VH1 had forgot about.) They still had on the video programs like Hits, Cita's World, Rap City The Basement and at night, my favorite Midnight Love and even Comic View (which Comedy Central even stopped showing their stand up comedy shows like Premiem Blend, ect.)
Around 06 or 07, they got into the reality faze with Keyshia Cole, some Vince Young Show, Hell Date, and some other stuff. The only good thing they did around this time was get the rights to In Living Color, Jamie Foxx Show and The Wayans Brothers. PRINCE: Always and Forever

It's not about skin color at all. It's about musical genres. Lady Gaga has NEVER done any hip-hop/r&b tracks in her whole career, not counting a duet on a Beyonce song.

I agree. Very odd promotional tactic that isn't likely to garner her new fans.
They need some new hosts too. These two are practically illiterate. "Keep in mind that I'm an artist...and I'm sensitive about my shit."--E. Badu

Come again?
Not to mention she has cred in the black community (Lil' Kim has given her props, Akon signed her, Janet is a fan, Beyonce is a huge fan, etc).

WORD! | |

Well now, if we're going to have an open door policy on BET (a network that is still owned by ViaCON no less) for dance-pop artists, then how come The Spice Girls & Katy Perry were never invited to 106th & Park and yet we have Lady Gaga on there?!?
And which 'hoods, ghettos, and/or projects do you know that acknowledge Gaga's street cred in the black community?
Excuse me for being old-fashioned, but Gaga would have NEVER qualify to appear on Video Soul with Donnie Simpson back in the days when BET had more credibility.

Beside new hosts, they need a new executive producer.

Yeah that!!! That Stephen Hill guy even looks like his name is douchebag. "Hi, I'm Stephen Douchebag." Can't stand that dude.

The real question should be why is someone as popular as Lady Gaga appearing on a nobody-cares type of show called "106 & Park"? I could see if she appeared on it in 2001 when it was popular but really? I'm surprised people even WATCH "106 & Park" in this day and age! And why WAS Gaga there anyways?
