I am not a fan of Lady Gaga but I think her music is generic.

I am not trying to sound like a typical Lady Gaga hater but her music is just to Madonna esque for me.

She sounds like Madonna and even has her sound I think her so called "creativity genuis" is overhyped.

People are such sheep they think she is a second coming of John Lennon because she can play the piano and a pop artist who can actually sing.

I still think she is a music mob created machine.

If people wanted to hear some experimented music liste to Janelle Monae Archandroid album.

I am not trying to say one is better then the other but I just think that her so called hype and accolades is pushed moreso then gravitiated.

Not at all. They're catchy pop songs with deeper meanings and lyrics than most of the stuff on top 40 radio. The new album is amazing.

I really enjoyed the first three. Hair is just plain bad. But I really think this entire album plays more like a collection of singles and B-sides than it does as an album. It's sort of like listening to 90s Prince albums without the segues inserted to keep the song changes from seeming random.

I don't think any of the songs off her new album make for great singles, minus the title track at least. I love the new album, but it doesn't sound very radio friendly.

The only single that's rubbish is "Born That Way." Waaaaay too obvious.

I like "Judas" the most of the singles. Hoping that "Marry the Night" is going to be a single.

Not only are the singles some of the weakest songs on the whole album, but the strongest songs appear to the be the ones exclusive to the "deluxe" version.

Which if it's a marketing strategy, is deeply flawed and also pretty smart at the same time lol lol

I think a good 8 tracks E.P. can be made out of the deluxe edition. I said "Good"..not great, not wonderful..just plain good.

Yeah, I'd roll with that.

I'd go with:

Marry The Night

Government Hooker

Judas

Scheiße

Black Jesus + Amen Fashion

Fashion Of His Love

Heavy Metal Lover

Bad Kids

"Government Hooker" and "Fashion Of His Love" are the two songs I'd say are really great. The others range from slightly above moderate to pretty good.

I don't get this whole obsession of people putting so many songs on an album. Never have. The new Snoop album has like 21 songs on it, it's just overkill. It was one thing in the CD-era, but in the digital era it just makes even less sense. How many classic albums throughout history have had more than 12-14 songs? Most of the great albums in the 80's had 10 or less.

Identity

The singles aren't indicative of how jaw-droppingly good the entire project, especially the deluxe set. With this album she leaves the competition in the dust.

I can't stand this woman, but I downloaded the album just out of curiosity. I loved Government Hooker and Scheibe but hated everything else. I just can't get into her vocals, the ABBA-esque choruses or the production. Oh well! I expected this anyway since I listen to 95% r&b.

I think Scheibe was the best song on that album. It was Bloody Mary but I don't know, got turned off by it. But Scheibe stood out like a sore thumb...

Why would you download an album from someone you can't stand?

Gaga is really doing something right if she can get people to download her music, even if they can't stand her! razz

I want my 99 cents back.

This is nothing at all like The Fame. At least that had some catchy tunes.

Yikes!

I'm gonna go put on a Madonna record and forget I ever heard this crap.
