Oh please. The lighting is different and on her first album cover she is clearly wearing a skin bronzer. People make the biggest deals out of such nonsense. |

Exactly. Every human looks different shades in different pictures. I'm white but judging by pictures of myself, I have at least 300 different shades I can be. "Keep in mind that I'm an artist...and I'm sensitive about my shit."--E. Badu |

After the Negroid Jewish woman look she went for in loreal ads a couple of years ago, I'm tickled that people are still shocked by this and others who still make excuses.

Was just being an ass, it happens to all of us I went to that link posted, read the user's comments and was laughing at all the people getting their panties in a bunch over Beyonce. People forget she's Creole and Spanish, so she's not necesssarily going to be dark like her father |

The flash has a lot to do with it too. "Keep in mind that I'm an artist...and I'm sensitive about my shit."--E. Badu |

Yeah I agree, I've had people ask me if Janet is white when they were too young to know her and glanced at one of my posters from the 90's and in my own pics, I can manage to really pale like I'm half white or something, or around summer months, a little darker, maybe Prince's tone. |

Sounds just like "Deja Vu" with an actual hook this time. It has that same Just-Add-Water, faux-soul sound that I HATED in "Deja Vu." The best thing about it is the intro because her screaming with no purpose has officially gotten tired to me.
While it's definitely more fit to be released than her first flop single, this is so bland and safe, I'd almost take "Run The World" over it. Maybe I'm just being nice but, had it not been for the pitifully atrocious lyrics, I think that song would have fared better...

Just because there isn't some goddamn analog hiss over it does not render it "Just-add-water" or "faux". This is 2011.
And"Déjà Vu" was funk and "End of Time" is Fela Kuti-inspired, STUPID. You would think a poster on a Prince board would know something about genres. iSnatch, iRead, iDrag. For Beysus and in general. Simple. |
