Image-wise, she's suffering from the same thing Mariah has been suffering from for years...the inability to be a chameleon. She has the same look year after year, and it becomes old after a while.
I think Mariah did it to herself whereas Beyonce is actually suffering from that.
Mariah Carey is loved enough for her actual talent where she did not have to do that kind of stuff. She decided to do it because she was in love with hip hop and abandoned her true talented self to try to be Miss Hip Hop Queen.
If Mariah were to walk on the stage with a long dress and sing like she used to sing back in 1990 she would be on top again. People love that Mariah not sexbot Mariah.
Beyonce on the other hand has made her appeal based on selling her looks whereas Mariah did not.
AMEN
people like real talent, whether its dancing or singing. Mariah didn't have to rely on her looks during the beginning of her career.
Neither janet jackson, who pratically wore a trench coat all the way up to 1993
The cover looks tacky and I don't see how it correlates with the title of the album. Kinda all over the place.

Off topic I know, and nothing against you, but lately I've been laughing at media and fans acting like Janet covered up till 1993, it is NOT true she showed cleavage during When I Think of You and Love Will Never Do Without You, and she wore sleevless and low cut dresses often during the first two eras and looked nice! People just remember her best for the Control & RN images so they act like she was always like that in the 80's, when really it was a re-invention.
Such nastiness............why are u spitting HATE on Beyonce?

Huh? I do not hate Beyonce. This "heroin-chic" style photograph is not flattering. When makeup is blurred and washed out like that, its from getting your face wet. So she's walking around with a fur vest, gold bracelets, and a gstring with running mascara. Seems like a prostitute that got thrown in a dumpster to me.

Gray don't like Beyonce, he was being sarcastic as Harlepolis said.
Yeah I also think Gray was also referring to your stab at him in the GaGa thread... Back to this complete train wreck...AWFUL! Plus this new song posted above is HORRIBLE!
This leaked song is much better than "Who Runs The World" noise IMO....
Sounds just like "Deja Vu" with an actual hook this time. It has that same Just-Add-Water, faux-soul sound that I HATED in "Deja Vu." The best thing about it is the intro because her screaming with no purpose has officially gotten tired to me.
While it's definitely more fit to be released than her first flop single, this is so bland and safe, I'd almost take "Run The World" over it. Maybe I'm just being nice but, had it not been for the pitifully atrocious lyrics, I think that song would have fared better...
Awesome cover. Good to see great photography and graphic design is still alive and well.
The local High School art department is extremely talented.
When go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!
