Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler publishes his new autobiography Does the Noise In My Head Bother You? today and it contains plenty of new revelations about the frontman's colorful past.

Most startling among the revelations, first picked up on by ABC News, was Tyler's admission that he'd tried gay sex, but just the once as he "didn't dig it."

He wrote: "Gay sex just doesn't do it for me. I tried it one time when I was younger, but I just didn't dig it."

Tyler had gay sex? No way! I could never tell he'd be the type.

I pretty much assumed all rockstars that came out of the end of the 60s tried gay sex at some point. It has never really been a big deal except to the corporate shmucks that push the stories in the press. Isn't that part of the allure of the rock icon status? They're above race and gender and other defined roles so why should it matter or even not be expected?

I think he was going through a phase where he was confused. I don't know how someone who is straight can jump at the chance to have gay sex. You either gay or not.
