Kate Bush - Director's Cut - Far and away best album of the year so far....

But you all prefer to follow the most embarrassing mass produced shit of all time, Lady Gagagoo whatever her name.

Don't want to spoil anything, but the new Moments Of Pleasure is absolutely one of them rare songs that don't come often, but remain a staple on this world for eternity.

Hear the album here...

It's pretty amazing! They only song i don't like is "Womans work", but besides that, it's a magical album. "Song of Solomon" is out of this world.

nice album, but it's just re-recorded/remixed old tracks.

I find TWW a phenomenal remake. It's so far removed from the original that you just can't compare...but it still manages to maintain it's emotional chord. SoS is fantastic....the original was a fave, the new is better.

With the tracks sounding so far removed from the originals, i felt it a brand new experience, as does Kate.

Love it, and the remastered "The Red Shoes" album sounds great too.

I was rather meh bout this whole project, but I have to say she really stepped up how she reworked some of the cuts. Its top shelf materal.

Moments Of Pleasure, Song Of Solomon, Never Be Mine, This Woman's Work and And So Is love are my fave, some of them such as Moments Of Pleasure being some of the best songs i've heard in numerous years. The rest are great too...i don't dislike one, but i do say she could of changed some a bit more.

Her re-working of Red Shoes is worth the album by itself.

Her Piano work is MUCH better in these recordings (see Never Be Mine, Moments Of Pleasure) and the new drums make it so much easier to listen to as opposed to the tinny drums on the originals, plus the style of drumming is better like that of Deeper Understanding. A song i wish she also re-recorded is Love and Anger. One of my faves!
