‘Hair’, the latest promotional track to be lifted from Lady GaGa’s ‘Born This Way’ LP was released moments ago. Produced by RedOne, the cut features an appearance from Clarence Clemons of the E Street Band.

‘Hair’ follows ‘The Edge Of Glory‘ which exceeded all expectations when it reached #1 on iTunes globally last week; despite only serving as a buzz single.

It's not bad. I'm less and less of a RedOne fan the more I hear of him, but this song is playful and light like her old stuff, but with that new rockier sound she sports now.

One thing I noticed a while ago and has played out again and again is that RedOne tags each song he does with this annoying horn-like synth stab. It's in every single song he produces for LG and it is super distracting when you point it out. Sometimes, it is important parts of the beat (like it is in "Poker Face") and sometimes it is just subtle like it is in "Hair" or "Judas". It's still annoying when I hear it.

Another week, another dud. Gaga is doing consumers a spectacular favor by allowing them to preview her lifeless tracks without wasting a single dime on the CD.

I am liking her rock vibe & having Clarence on record! the Springsteen sounding song's are pretty cool imo

but on another note i agree with many when i see i am tired of RedOne

It has a North European power pop vibe to it. Our charts are full of tracks that have a similar production style as this one. Redone is from Sweden, right? (check: apparently he moved to Sweden when he was young).

While I enjoyed a couple songs on The Fame, I'm finding everything on this new disc rather blah. I don't think its going to even be worth torrenting.

^^^ I'm a real fan of the Fame Monster album... But...sorry...I just don't like any of the songs I've heard off the new LP. Not that I don't think Lady GaGa doesn't have talent...but these songs just don't move me and see repetitive/derivitave of what she had already done.

Also, what happens if she loses her hair...for whatever reason? Then, how free is she in this society?

Look, i know saxophone in a song is not ''original'' at all. But when is the last time a sax has been in a really popular song? or a pop song for that matter?

Not to mention it has one of the best sax players in the game on it... i just think it's cool GaGa is adding new elements to her music. Once again for the millionth time people will say if it original? NO!, But it sounds damn good. I was not a GaGa fan but from Judas and on she has got me i will admit now i like her. I hear elements of rock mixed in with that soulful sax & beats i dig it.

And i hear Brian May from Queen play's a guitar solo on this album as well? either way GaGa has made her music exciting imo and i like it

^^^ I'm glad you liked it, and I wanted to, but I just didn't. I liked the songs on the Fame Monster much much more. I did like Judah. But I think GaGa has much more in her than her "hair."

OK...can we just slow down..the whole album I feel is about to come out already..we on 3 singles...

I am soooooo stoked about this album.

Waiting on this thing has been grueling.

I don't even give 2 shits if Prince releases anything in the next year, but this album I've been stoked about.
