I have this album. smile

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

lol

Y'know, I've gotten so used to hearing the two tunes together, almost like like it was two different movements in the same song.......

this song in particular, was one of the reason why I had to learn how to play the acoustic guitar. The Isley Brothers should've recorded an acoustic album or two of their hits. What a shame.

sad

I loved their acoustic original, "Love Just Comes and Goes". I think it was just Ronald and Ernie and Marvin and Chris on the track.

I gotta check out some more Isleys. I know this is an abomination, but the only albums I own by them are:

It's Your Thing: The Story of the Isley Brothers

The Heat Is On

Go For Your Guns

Between The Sheets

This two-punch jam just made me realize that I need to upgrade some more Isleys and fast...music

I wonder if I can get those albums in one package. I only have The Heat Is On, Go For Your Guns, and Between The Sheets as MP3 downloads. The only physical album I have is the 3-CD It's Your Thing box set.
