Moldova were the best.

Ok everyone gave top marks for there neighbouring country, totally understandable. Ermm us Brits gave Ireland 12 points...Ireland gave Britain ONLY 6 points. I know Blue were crap but so was Jedward. And without us Brits there would of been no Jedward. Where was the loyalty to there neighbours?

Edit: i can't spell

I thought Azerbaijan, Italy and Sweden were the worst three. I can't believe they came on top.

I was following Will Arnett on Twitter last night as he was watching in in a hotel room in London. Very funny.

Always smile

The mistake people make (or is it from being English and hated by the rest of Europe (despite being a very popular immigrant destination)) is that they still think of it as a competition. It's not been that since the beginning really. But it's funny how indistinct a lot of the songs now are. The Western influence? It's a pity as they are losing their crazy identities.

Moldova were excellent as were my vote Jedward (Ireland). Crazy bastards the lot of them who truly understand the humorous nature of the show. Crazy hats, unicycles, "awesome!" haircuts, leggings, they had it all smile

Austria probably had the best song/singer but that means nothing in Eurovision. And what a fantastic stage the Germans put on. I was right about the humour though. German's have fuck all wink

Probably. I think Ireland still hate us.

Moldova were excellent.

They sure were! Liked the little Ska pieces they had in it

Moldova reminded me a bit of Adam Ant by the sound. All the serious Eurovision fans seemed to hate it because the performance was OTT and jokey, and they hate it when people make a mockery of the thing. But I genuinely thought the song was one of the best of the night.

2009 3rd

We may question if they're even European but we can't deny they've got the winning formula nod

They've done better in 4 years than Austria in 50 smile

intersting, I just checked, we also didn't enter the year after, in 1970 in Amsterdam

...and in '73, '74, '75, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010. what did we protest against then? against the fact we didn't have any decent song?

family more important than Eurovison? ....okay, to some part I can follow that logic... lol

and I knew about Udo Jürgens, but I never heard about the Franco protest. the org, always a place to learn geek stuff that noone really needs to know
