I just saw the HBO special she put out ... yeah , i know ... it was probably filmed ages ago ... but I too ... like alot of ya ... remember the 80's when she was hot ... with "control" and have seen her mature ... etc ... I actually have to admit ... i like some of her more recent stuff on the radio , etc ...

But this special ... dayum ...

her boobies were shown in the first 4 minutes ... he he ... not that i minded or nothing ... cause she is pretty fine ...

but seeing her "concert footage " ... brings me to sooo many questions ... so I am imaginin ... hmmm... whats with her lip synching ... ... does she do the whole show lip synchin ... or was ... the one mic ... just for her "singing parts" ... or what ... any thoughts!!??

Seeing her ... and then comparing it to ... lets say the "ONE NIGHT ALONE " tour ... makes me realize why i like prince much more ... not to diss janet ... cause she does have some good songs ... and she can dance ... but i dont get that ... seeing someone dance ... i mean .. haaailll ... i can go to a broadway show for that ... he he ...

I don't think that was her. I'm pretty sure she used a body double. I don't debate that she is fine as wine, but she's followed in her brother and sister's footsteps and had lots of surgery. Lemme see - nose, eyes, cheekbones, serious liposuction and ab-implants to give her that Olympic sprinter's six pack.

anyway ... i watched it ...just cause i like some of her music ... but she is one of those "artists" that i have one of her albums ... but NEVER listen to it ...just boring ... ho hum ... and like i said ... remind me of why i like prince much ...

She is a Babe but That Show Bored Me.that Album "All 4 U" was so Puffy feeling that I couldn't waste my time listening for too long.I felt She was Grandstanding that whole Tour&Album dime a Dozen vibe for me&TOur.only the "Control" Section of the tour was what I was feeling overall.

i love me some Janet! I saw that show from the 2nd row and, maybe that made me biased, but i thought it was phenomenal. She did have a click track going, but all singer/dancers do. Nobody could work that hard and still sing all the notes.
bottom line is I go to see Janet for some entertaining, show-stopping performances...not anything more. Though, her choreographers are truly gifted people!

Wow...Janet Jackson is becoming very popular in this forum lately...

Ok, let me fill you in since I'm the authority here on Janet...

Janet did NOT use a stunt double for the waterfall scene. Those were her actual breasts.

The dressing room scenes were recording a day before the actual show during the rehearsals for the LIVE in hawaii show with the media.

She does lipsync somewhat, but she pre-records her vocals at intense parts of the show with high choreography. She sings when she wants to sing. She's not like Britney lifting her whole concert from an acapella of her studio sessions.

The DVD is out and has already went Platinum. You should go pick it up!

Janet is an overrated performer. She's too repetitive on stage. Her last two tours where almost identical in parts.

I used to be a huge fan of Janet, and still listen to her stuff and buy her albums, but I wish she'd quit the incessant repetition and come out with something new.

WOW I'm surprised at the level of Janet hating in here. I guess she must be doing something right to garner such a fierce reaction. Janet is my WIFEY and I will love her 4 LIFE! Go head girl ---> Miss Janet.

And BTW, The All For You concert was one of the best concerts I have ever seen in my young life. That concert was HARD AS HELL. Y'all are wack. That concert was shhh and she worked us out. I had front row seats! I even went onstage with her and she performed Would You Mind on me. I will never HATE on AFY Tour or Janet -- <3 for life.

I'm far from hatin on Janet; In fact, I'm a huge fan. However, I don't feel that I have to love everything she's done, and I think that if you looked at the show OBJECTIVELY, you would realize that she does have a tendancy to repeat herself.
