Hear N' Aid ~ Stars

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Oh man, i remember when i was a kid thinking this was so awesome! all my favorite metal stars together everyone from Iron Maiden, to priest to the crue to blue oyster cult to W.A.S.P to Ronnie James Dio, to Quiet Riot to Dokken to King Kobra, even the guy's from spinal tap!

The song seem's a bit cheesy now but i love it still and the over the top 80's guitar solos that follow razz

Pistols sounded like "Fuck off," wheras The Clash sounded like "Fuck Off, but here's why.."- Thedigitialgardener

All music is shit music and no music is real- gunsnhalen

Neal used to be in Santana too.

I've always loved it how the singers all sound so identical. With "We Are The World" you are able to tell "that's Stevie!", "that's Bruce!", "...Michael!". With this one it's more like, "... uhm, another guy that sounds a lot like the last guy?".

Thats so true their voices sounded identical you have to see the video just to see who's singing.
Good attempt it was for charity but the other single put together by Little Stevie (Sin City) was a better project.

Well, hard rock was more about the guitarist than the singer. razz

Ah the 80's..leather pants, capezios and Chams shirts.

Who slayed:

George Lynch

Neal Schon

Yngwie J.

Who rocked:

Brad Gillis

Vivian Campbell

Murray and Smith

Who should have played:

Dave Menneketti

Who really should not have played:

Carlos Cavazo

Eddie Ojeda

Craig Goldy

Who I would have liked to have seen solo on Hear N Aid:

Tony Iommi (who was asked but declined)

Jake E. Lee

Steve Stevens

Spacey T

EVH

Jimmy Page (who almost made it)

Akira from Loudness

...Dio almost did it again in 2003 with Zakk Wylde, Yngwie, Doug Aldrich and John Petrucci but I don't know if any recordings were made.
