Rod Stewart for two-year Las Vegas residency Rod Stewart has announced that he's inked a deal for a two-year concert residency at Las Vegas hotel Caesars Palace.
His new stage show 'Rod Stewart: The Hits' will premiere at the resort's Colosseum on August 24 with tickets going on sale from May 15. Nick Ashford was someone I greatly admired, had the honor of knowing, and was the real-life inspiration for Cowboy Curtis' hair. RIP Nick. - Pee Wee Herman

Good for him.I think these lengthy residency deals are a good thing for older artists who are probably tired of going from city to city, living out of suitcases.

He was never going to go back to that sound that made him popular.

I completely agree. Rod may not be what he once was, but he had a great career and a very unique voice and he could rock his ass off back in the day. I love his 70's and 80's music.
