I just want to show some Love and Aprrection for this underrated artist. I love "The Game" CD- I have been jamming to that CD lately.

I was upset what they did to El, his brother, because they were full aware that EL was not

ready to hit the studio, interviews and performances. It was wayyyyyyyyyy too much for someone

with a drug habit and just getting out of prison. Greedy people just kept looking at him

as a $ making machine. They knew he was going to lean on the drugs when under pressure.

Yes, we all gave him a "SECOND CHANCE" and willing to give him many more chances, just as long

as he gets hisself together, first. I wish Chico could've been given the baton and in the limelight while

El gets his life together. Chico has great talent and I love his voice. It would've been so cool to see

them both in concert..

Any Chico Debarge fans out there ? What's ur favorite song/CD?

My joint is "Long Time No See" and "Iggin' Me" is the shit. He's gonna be in vegas in June.

Just like his brothers Bobby and El, he definitely could've had more success if he had not diverted into a path of drug abuse and self destruction.

I have all of Chico's stuff. My favorite song is I've Been Watching You. I still have my original 12 inch of Talk To Me on vinyl.

I love Chico Debarge but honestly it's all about his first album for me. Talk to me is the shit!

My favorite Chico album is, "Free". The drug addiction and jail time hurt him big time, but I think Chico's management has been woefully incompetent.

As for his 1990s and 2000s music, as they used to say on "Men On Film"...."Hated it!". I love some of his 1980s jams, especially these two.....

I thought everyone who had wild hair and was the same complexion as Prince was related to him. I was only two, three years old so you can understand why I was a bit confused.

Hell yes, for me "Long Time No See" is my favorite album from him. Love it and still play it till this day!!! I liked his latest album too "Addiction"...though it wasn't as strong as his earlier efforts.

Became a fan because my wife is...my favorites must be "Everybody Knew But Me" & "Heart Mind & Soul" from the Game

Jonathan Arthur "Chico" DeBarge (born June 23, 1966 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American R&B singer and a younger brother of the members of the Motown family act DeBarge. Unlike the rest of his DeBarge siblings, Chico is the only male DeBarge that does not sing in the falsetto range that is well known in his family; he sings tenor.

He began a musical career of his own with Motown Records in the mid-1980s. His debut self-titled album featured the hit single "Talk To Me." He released a second album with Motown, Kiss Serious, but was imprisoned for drug charges not long after and served time in prison for drug trafficking.^{[citation needed]} After his release in the mid-1990s, DeBarge returned to Motown to continue his musical career under the auspices of Kedar Massenberg and his neo-soul pioneering label imprint Kedar Entertainment.

I like the Free album a lot too as well as Long Time No See. His last release

Yeah, I prefer the 80s Chico. Loved "Talk To Me" from his first album and most his second album, "Kiss Serious". "I've Been Watching You" and several others on that album were produced by Brownmark (admittedly, the reason I bought it in the first place).

Chico is good, I like him
