Harlepolis

Thats one of my fave albums ever. Hearing "Peanut Butter" & "Morning Sunrise" makes me wish that Don Blackman released his solo debut while STILL working with the band.

Yeah, it should have dropped around 1980, especially with "Habaglabotribbin" showing up on Bernard Wright's album soon after this....

Great album indeed ! cool Also with the Mighty Phenix Horns blowing their power on that project.

I dig the whole Twennynine series and Barry's lead vocals.

He also sings lead on "Back To You" from the 1980 sessions.

That slowjam has a strong EW&F influence imo. Couldn't spot in on youtube.

Fancy Dancer (1980)

It's Music , It's Magic (1980)

Jon "Skip" Anderson was the group's next keyboard-captain, and some tracks represent his specific production-

sound : "Rhythm" (1981) / "Don't Look Back" (1981) / "Movin On"(1981) / "Just Right For Me" (1980)
