they got a new album coming out? I'm adding it to my wishlist "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world." | |

The best hiphop song of the 90's in my opinion, the flow, the lyrical play, the exchange of bars, the whole song is just dopenes!!!!. Even though a large portion of its second half is nothing more than a list of people who be sipping Amaretto LOL the song is highly addictive, Camp Lo’s technique works better than most: lace a lazy, easy listening with a whiff of funk, party-time loop over classic boom bap drums, add an infectious but surreal hook and you got a classic!!!
Uptown saturday night has to be the best rap duo album with Mobb Deep "The infamous" of course.
Camp Lo at that time had a unique sound, unique style, unique flow, they even dressed like nobody else. You can hardly compare them with others groups. They definitely brought new flava in the air in the 90's
The line that had everybody scratching their heads LOL
The Sonny Cheeba he be sippin Armaretta
