She wasn't referencing a specific film - just the vibe of a Fellini film. Of course, people will blow that up and try to investigate and overanalyze every little piece, pointing out which aspects are NOT a portrayal of a Fellini idea, but there ya go. lol.

it's really not that, brotha..it's just the fact that I'm entittled 2 have a point of view like u. I just don't see it..but anyways. And hey lil monster don't be mad...I'm really not a hater. Peace! wink

That makes no sense. I'm not criticizing your opinion, I just don't see how you can have an opinion like that when there's nothing that should lead you to it. You calling me names or whatever doesn't send a point home, it makes you look petty.

You don't see a Fellini connection because you don't want to. You decided right off the bat it wasn't impressive enough for further thought as is evident in your 2nd post in this thread. Just because you don't "get it" doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

"There's no Fellini inspiration" is not an opinion, it is a statement presented as fact.

"I don't think the Fellini inspiration is evident enough" is an opinion, it states that it is your FEELING.

nah...I said "I missed the Fellini movie inspiration, but I as far as I can see it sho'nuff wasn't there"...I'm just disappointed. I was expecting way more. Even if I could see a Fellini connection it wouldn't make the video look better 2 me. didin't mean 2 call u names (although I did lol..sorry 4 that)...but whatever man.

I like the grimy electronic vibe it gives. What I meant by the statement above is that it doesn't matter what she does--people flock to it, whether they hate her or love her. It's evident on the org, youtube and where ever else she puts out new media.

Nope. She's a completely original Gaga. Madonna has done some wild shit in her day, but Gaga takes things to Grace Jones-ian proportions and then some. And then she's not completely like Grace either. She's so many different things rolled into one, yet uniquely herself.

Her chops are nothing to sneeze at. Homegirl can sang. Have you even seen the acapella BTW clip? She has a serious voice, and can play the piano, write, and is not half a bad dancer. I'm definately not a "little monster", but I can certainly give credit where it's due. It's a shame people can't look past her persona to see how talented she really is.

Such is the taint of the Reality TV Generation. If Lady Gaga had come out in the 80s, she would've been hailed as a post-modernist pop star with avant garde artistic flair. A female Warhol, if not a dolled up art school brat making house music with industrial beats.

It boggles the mind, doesn't it? lol I call bullshit on anyone who says that Gaga bores them. She may be a little too in-your-face or out of the norm for some folks, but she is never boring.
