Ok you're being too harsh on yourself. You arleady sound like such a nice person who tried to incorporate humanitarianism to follow MJ's footsteps! I think it'll be very hard to be as genuine as MJ because I heard him saying that whenever he sees depressing news such as children dying on the street, it affects him so much that he couldn't even sleep. Unfortunately I think he had maybe too much of genuineness that it got to the point where the ugly side of the world wouldn't let him live a normal life....I don't think you have to be that extreme to spread humanitarianism...
I get motivated by not only MJ but his fans sometimes.
You see dancers on SYTYCD, ABDC, even DWTS who constantly say Michael was their inspiration to start dancing. The same goes for American Idol for singing...and as you know there are too many popular entertainers/artists who say MJ was their biggest inspiration...And a lot of them seem to understand MJ's true purpose and try their best to stand for awareness and spreading positivity...(I even suspect Steve Jobs might be an MJ fan because I saw his youtube videos where he introduces iPad, and on his iPad he had This Is It in the 'movies' category and nothing but MJ's music videos in 'music video' category lol).... I think you need to turn that depression into positive energy...I'm sorry that words are the only way I can try to cheer you up...But if you successfully turn that negativity to motivation...you'll become very strong person...As others say therapist might help...or coming here and letting your feelings out might help too [Edited 5/8/11 23:43pm] [Edited 5/8/11 23:43pm]

student: I went on mjjforum years ago, but they wanted everyone to talk the same, act the same etc. Non-offensive topics were closed or moved around often, no artist was better than mj (though I think he's my favourite, there are others I find the best too, but feel something special with him I can't deny), and so many people would get banned and so forth. I can't even remember much else, but it was good for news updates.
emancipation: to tell you the truth, I used to be into all that, but it's really faded. Since the death, my musical hobbies have really declined overtime and the spark has gone, and my career was inspired by humanitarism, but I've seen a lot of ugly things happen, and people are unappreciative or services or use the system, though there are also those I help that truly need it. And then there are those who help others but are horrible people...and I've felt I've become a very bitter and jaded person who doesn't know how to do anything, and don't know how he managed to still be nice and all that, cause I sure can't keep up at all and feel maybe I lived a lie, I don't know.
