I remember the day it happened with me and Morrissey.

I used to love his solo material as much as I liked the Smiths material.

Then one day I stopped listening to both and just took a break.

I was going through an electronic music, Miami South Beach WWC phase back then, and

the Smiths didn't fit that format.

Then one day, I grew out of the electronic music scene (mostly), and

started listening to real stuff again. And what happened? I found 80% of the Morrissey stuff

just dreadful. I loved the Smiths stuff (mostly) still, but I just couldn't get back into

Morrssey.

You're a real fucker. You act like you own this place--ParanoidAndroid <-- about as witty as this princess gets! lol
I hope everyone pays more attention to Sags posts--sweething mushy

I don't know how I sat through girl bands of the 90's like Total and SWV. I still like a few SWV cuts, but it's more for memories than quality. The only two I love now are Right Here/Human Nature and Can We.

I stopped getting emotional over losing out with any favorite band or artist a while ago. It's not worth it.

Prince and I are in it for life, I think. But it's been pretty much a sexless marriage since the early '90s. confused

One word: Jamiroquai.

We had two beautiful years together. Then he started to spend his nights at the discotheque and we broke up.

falloff You have a way with words, I swear.

I'm happy to say that I'm still in the spring stage when it comes to Prince' music nod

But most of the R&B singers from the 90s that I used to heavily follow have fell from my radar. I'm not as enthusiastic when it comes to Mariah & Mary J anymore unfortunately, mainly because they TOO are not enthusiastic about their recent outputs and it shows in their work, they're not as hungry. Hell, so is Prince, but his saving grace is I could always go back and stumble on stuff I haven't been exposed to(such as his bootlegged rehearsals and live shows).

Prince has finally fallen into second place behind my new favorite group Mint Condition.

I break up with Prince between tours. His, religious views, internet antics and current records make me call it quits time and time again. But every time a show is announced in my area I quickly call Ticket Master and apologize and ask for forgiveness.
