I'm glad that she FINALLY has gotten to the point where she doesn't have to pretend that she has long hair or that her grew back to a certain length. She can have short hair one day and the next day put her long hair back on. In the past, she would never do that.

^^^ I totally agree! I was going to post the Denmark photos but, as always, Seanman beat me to it. I love her new confidence in wearing clothes and hairstyles that she is comfortable in and she exhibits that new confidence in her recent performances. In her book, she said that she is a "tomboy" at heart and she is wearing clothes that express her comfort with herself and also allow her the freedom to dance more, which becomes increasingly more uncomfortable in extreme high heels the older you get--I know! I think she looks lovely in the short hair and hot in the wifebeater shirt, tight jeans, and boots! She danced her ass off in that outfit when I saw her--and I said to my guest: "Damn, she's back--more than ever!"

I can't WAIT until official word comes on some new material. I'm sure that once the tour is over, she's really going to buckle down and start making some new tracks. Knowing Janet, she's probably already in the writing process, but just keeping things on the hush. And then there's that film deal she has with Lionsgate. People over on the Janet-Xone forums are speculating that she'll do a project based on Eartha Kitt, but who knows for sure what her first project in that Lionsgate deal will be. I'm thinking it'll be new 2012 album, tour, new film project, in that order.

Eartha Kitt?! That sounds like a great project! Is there any possibility that Janet might play the lead role? I gotta think about that. She might be great in it. I still remember Eartha Kitt as the ULTIMATE cat woman on Batman when I was a kid. Purrrrrrrrfect! I so hope that Janet will use all the wonderful energy from her concert tour first, though, to put out a new album--with Jimmy & Terry, of course!

I've always wanted to see Janet play Dorothy Dandridge or Lena Horne, but there ain't nothing wrong with Eartha . And of course I'm hoping for a musical reunion with Jimmy and Terry .
