Control came out in 86 and BAD was released in 87.

RN is my favorite era from Janet. And OMG her thick black hair was to die for just amazing also she is one of the very few women in hollywood who is naturally beautiful.

Black women to this day still admire her hair in the Pleasure Principle video, and her RN-era hair, janet.-era hair and Velvet Rope-era hair had others following. I remember when Janet was on Tyra Banks' talk show, Tyra said she tried to get her hair styled like Janet in the That's the Way Love Goes video, and that she could never get it right. My impression all this time was she had turned 20 especially when everyone kept bragging about it but she was still 19. That's more impressive actually... she shot about four of them videos at that age.
