OK, the last thing I know about Xtina was that there was some type of verbal diss towards Lady Gaga, then she blogged and 'cleared the air' about the whole thing, only to release a Gaga-esch album (and isn't Gaga-esc, really sort of a quazi Kylie/Madonna/Blondie/Bowie/Pointer Sisters kind of thing?).

Anyways, where is Xtina?

What's she up to?

I googled her and got a bunch of gossip that I became confused weeding through.

She's currently appearing on a major talent show called The Voice along with Cee-Lo, Adam Levine (from Maroon 5) and Blake Shelton which has gotten great reviews and ratings. And she is also is to said to be working on a follow-up to her last album as well. So those are the two things that I know that are going on with her now.

Because I guess when you're "popular", the media often will pick you over the other so it becomes "their sound". To be honest, now looking back, that video people were accusing Christina of copying, it was really more of a Madonna tribute, something she openly admitted. But they were still "Gaga, Gaga, Gaga".

but to be honest the whole GaGa war with everyone else's fans like Britney, or Xtina etc...the fake hype fights the tweets, the facebook posts, etc...is still why i cant take GaGa seriously. Now thing is that i used to feel this way about Xtina because she was and still is a difficult person, Britney, honestly is like snow white as a person, she likes everyone and stays out of the way, doesnt really give a shit. But i think when U get into these things whether Ure fans start it and u continue it, etc, or whether its Ciara and Rihanna, u less total cred for anything musical in my mind. I mean Imagine like Lionel Richie tweeting about Earth Wind and Fire back in the day picking fights and talking about stealing sounds and images, get real. But on another note, i see that the MEDIA is on this Xtina is fat kick already? really thats what we think FAT is? once again american media shows its "true colors"

I don't know if Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind and Fire would be at each other's throats but it seems like a very safe bet that had today's technology existed back then that there would be some artists of that era sniping at each other.

As far as "fat" Christina goes I think she looks great now. Compare her today with what she looked like in the "Come On Over" video.
