very cool performance, GREAT song! paul weller doesn't seem to get much love here, but i love him 2 death!.. one of the coolest artists on the planet, his catalogue is phenomenal

here's another song from the same album 'paul weller', from the early 90's. this looks like it's from same concert biggrin

I really like Paul Weller during this period (and the Style Council, actually....)

Which solo album is this from? I discontinued following his career closely when he dissolved the Style Council. Obviously I've been missing out on some great material.

Yeah i'm a massive Weller fan, "Above the Clouds" is definately one of my favourites aswell such a relaxing soulful song, always reminded me of a long lost Marvin Gaye tune this one.

I think his first 3 solo albums are some of the best ever, also really love "Heavy Soul" & "Heliocentric", things went a bit bland after that for me but now he's on form again with the last 2 records.

We're here, might as well get into it.

he is the man!.. i was a big jam fan but lost interest in the style council, rediscovered him when he released stanley road.

i think his sound now seems to combine both those eras nicely
