Wanted -- New Music I just got an iTunes card for my birthday. I'm looking for some new music to check out, and the Org's been the biggest enabler of my hablt for new sounds.

Le Butcherettes (punkish/garage all girl rock band from Mexico)
Glasser (gets compared to Fever Ray quite a bit)
J*Davey (electro-soul...I'm a big fan)
Def Sound (this guy is so energetic live...he samples The Bird & The Bee here)

This came out last year, so not brand new. I very rarely listen to newer acts, but do listen to new stuff by veterans. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. I was going to suggest J*Davey too, but their last two EPs including this song isn't on iTunes. Even if they were, why waste an iTunes card on them when you can get them from J*Davey's site for free? | |
