Bee Gees & Andy Gibb ~ You Should Be Dancing

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

I don't think there's a bad track on either album but MC just has the edge for me.

You can't fuck with Nights On Broadway, Jive Talkin', Wind Of Change, Fanny or Baby As You Turn Away. All top drawer tracks.

its a shame how low they are always ranked in the list of great artist and how many regard them as a disco group. I was into their stuff years ago (need to get back into them hehe), they are a pretty amazing group who simply dont get their due because of the disco backlash. Some of the most gorgeous melodies i've ever heard are written by the bee gees, my dad is into them as well. Great and underrated group

What about "You Should Be Dancing","You Stepped Into My Life","Love So Right","Subway" and "Children Of The World"? Top-notch tracks wink

I like 'Main Course' but to be honest,it falls apart in the second half boxed It gets kinda boring.'Children Of The World' remains interesting from beginning to end.

All This Making Love, Country Lanes and Baby As You Turn Away keep the second half of MC strong.

And the other two songs are good if not great.

Let's just agree that both albums are ace! biggrin
