Ha!, yea i guess, its hard trying to make it on your own after living in the shadow of Beyonce, but at least she didnt give up like Michelle Williams (her voice is one of the worst ive heard) biggrin

Kelly's "Motivation" entered the charts this week at # 55. I must admit it sounds better than Beyonce's new ear pain-inducing track.

its so formula though, i mean cant anyone think of a new angle? I mean, mid tempo lazy rb beat, slap a lil wayne rap on their, cause thats basically a formula that has worked for no one, i mean at least Kelly was doing some different shit but this is nonsense and like a high school graduate going back to the second grade.

Whats funny is that she has some standout tracks that i still bump to this day like "Aint nobody", "Daylight" and "All on You" feat Lil Wayne which is waaaaaaaaaay doper than this.

to me its a boring track and than tacking lil wayne on their like a post-it-note that reads "please play me", i mean its just not going to work at this point, she has some really strong songs and i have heard a few tracks from what might be the new album that are interesting and different, and then this thing comes out and its like ohh guess we still have the 90's thinking going on with tossing a rapper on every single song.

Umm.. when did featuring a rapper on a song become a 90's thing, thats a kinda superficial thing to say LOL, so what... artists cant collabrate anymore and blend different genres? hmmm the problem isnt beacuse Wayne is on it or not , its beacuse the song itself is lame!!!

Kelly's management/label dropped the ball with her again .. they take waaay too long when it comes to promoting her and by the time this album drops, no one is gonna be checking for her anymore

She blew up with "When Love Takes Over" and THATS when they should've started pushing her music out there .. right after Commander, they should've put out "I'm That Chick"

the 90's saw the beginning of the collabos and mixes, thats why the RB genre has basically died off, your either in the mold or your not talked about. The blend of genres is fine but there is almost never a blend that makes any sense, is more like tacking someone on as a last resort to sell a record, and thats lamer than the song itself, mainly its always a label decision to throw a few verses on by so and so, but wayne right now is on 4 other tracks guesting and none of those are going anywhere, so no need for him.

to be honest they should just stop even trying to market her in the usa period. Its not gonna happen, its that simple, theres no room for what they are trying to push her as, theres already Beyonce and Rihanna, america cant handle more than that.

There's plenty of room for Kelly in the US, but she'll never be able to get out of Beyonce's shadow, and that's what sucks .. Kelly had so much time to release this album, but now that Bey is back, she might as well hang it up
