Xtina, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton performing "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley on NBC's new show The Voice. The reality television singing competition premieres April 26th.

I feel like relevant musicians like CeeLo, Xtina, and Adam should not be participating in this kind of lowbrow business.

Aren't they better than reality television?

Christina ruins it. I was enjoying it until she joined in. That cheesy style of hers is better suited to glossy generic Vegas chintz.

I agree.These type of shows are for has-been celebrities.Christina,Adam and Cee-Lo are still kinda "hot",aren't they?

There was a time when movie stars were once reluctant to enter the television realm, they felt TV could diminish their star power. However, in many cases, TV appearances had the opposite effect, and bolstered their sagging careers. Aguilera's leap to television was clearly a wise one. She needs a hit show/single/ablum.

Yeah,I guess X-Tina is doing what she has to do lol It's a shame,though,that reality shows are the only options for many artists to 'save' their careers.

I agree with you. However, these guys are trying to make some quick cash. I'm sure it's easy money for them. Not to mention, they think it will give them some type of credibility as an artist by mentoring someone new.
