American Idol 2011

I find it ironic that Simon left AI this year when they have the best top 24 of the 10 years the show has been on TV. Casey and Jacob are 2 sick puppies and should be in the finals when this whole thing is over.

I agree. These 2 need to be in the top 2 for sure. I also like the dude who sang the Judas Priest song! None of the girls blew me away during the auditions but lets see how things go. Jacob seriously gives me chills when he sings!

This is the 1st singer I've EVER encountered that caused tears 2 come out of my eyes.

This guy is on another level.

Me too! I was on the verge of tears from hearing him sing and i've never felt that way before. Not even with some of my fave artists. He is truly something else. He is straight out of church lol!

Steven Tyler is perfect for the show and strangely J Lo fits in really well too. There maybe hope for this show yet.....

I was like confuse um really? I didnt think it was that good for them to be raving over it the way they did. I wouldnt put it in the top 10 AI performances of all time.

Isn't he great? He reminds me A LOT of David Peaston though (which isn't a bad thing).

It is about time they got real talent on this show from top 2 bottom.

This year will be the BEST year of AI.

Randy was crazy for calling Haley's performance of Fallin' karaoke. she was fantastic! she's definitely my favorite this year, along with Casey & Jacob.

too bad no one really was watching this show for the talent aspect, as shown in the 30+% rating decline and most likely end of the show

woot! woot! woot! woot! woot! woot! woot! woot! Thank you, God!

Sorry for those of you who like it, but I can't stand this show. Pick out the best 2 all you like, but they won't make the final. That never happens, because the show isn't designed that way. Every season people protect who they think is in danger while the real talent becomes collateral damage.

Hmm, not sure about that?? This is the first year that I have been impressed with the judges (finally a panel that are passionate about music) and there picks. Seems like there was more of a shift to find contestants with substance over style. I really like Casey and Pia and think they both have a decent shot at going all the way.
