I can't think of a list, but this remains one of most disappointing albums I ever bought.

His voice saves this album.

I still listen to it. It's not as bad as Seal's album of covers. Better than k.d.lang's album of covers also.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Prince - Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic

Another Prince album that the press built up as a "return to form" that turned out to be very weak.

Bruce Springsteen - Magic

I can barely name you any of the songs on it....totally forgettable.

Madonna - American Life

I actually like the album but I can understand why alot of people dont and consider it Madge's worst. Very down beat, hardly any dance tracks, etc

American Life is not her worst.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

No love for Chaos and Disorder? I love that album.

I like Chaos and Disorder a lot and love New Power Soul.

Prince's R&B album(s) always seems to be hated on.

Chaos and Disorder isn't straight R&B liuke New Power Soul but it's still fun.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Weezer - Raditude - Okay, I like this one overall. But some of the lyrics left me thinking 'I can't believe this guy has a degree in english from Harvard'!

is that truly necessary in order to write a "deep/relevant" lyric?? rolleyes

It's true that being not everything touched by someone who went to an 'elite' university is going to turn to gold. But I still expect better than lines like these (from the song 'In The Mall')

Bells are ringing
In the mall, I was in the mall.
Now we're singing
In the mall, I was in the mall.
I was in the mall! I was in the mall!

I guess I'd better chime in with my turdy albums from otherwise great artists:

Worst album by Prince prince

Tie: Chaos and Disorder, New Power Soul

Worst album by other artists:

Mariah Carey - Charmbracelet. E=MC2

Madonna - American Life

Rolling Stones - Dirty Work, Voodoo Lounge

Elton John - Leather Jackets

Bob Dylan - Down In The Groove

R Kelly - Double Up

R.E.M. - Up

U2 - No Line On The Horizon (not really a shitty album; just underwhelming)

Jay-Z - Kingdom Come

Stevie Wonder - Conversation Peace

rolleyes doh! typing

I used to feel that way until I listened to the album last year(after many years of collecting dust) and it has many positive moments(beside its saving grace aka Subtle Invitation love). Like Irresistible(Which I prefer the rap-less version over the album version) and her collaboration with James Poyser and 'em in Lullaby.

Listen again? YOU listen again. I said his albums in the mid 00's. Thugs Revenge, Speaking In Tounges, ect. Have you ever listened to those albums? He USED to be a genius. Don't get me wrong, I'll always be a big fan, but he kinda fell off. He still has it in him to make a great song, but most of the time he just half-asses it. The albums he had through about 2002/2003-2007 weren't very good. And through most of this, Bizzy was really weird and you can totally tell it effected his music.

Do you know this song? It's pretty infamous as being a really low point for Bizzy musically.

I thought Chinese Democracy was pretty good, but I couldn't believe it took so long to put that album out.

You'd think he was working on Don Giovanni.

Crossroads 2010 wasn't that great, it only had a few songs I like. But that, as well as the rest of his music LATELY is a lot better than his music from 6-7 years ago.

I thought Zeigeist was really good actually...it got me into the Pumpkins big time!! I heard them to "United States" at the Live Earth USA concert and the track blew me away. Thought there was a couple of really good radio friendly tracks on there to.....having said that it was the first Pumpkins album I brought. Have had real fun discovering all their others since.

I like all her albums, so its hard for me to comment....its probably the one I listen to the least, and I know it was panned when it came out. What would you put at the bottom of the Madonna pile??
