Yeah I heard about it, and it looks stupid! Sorry for being blunt, but that's just how I feel about the show.

Check me out and add me on:

That's what I was thinking too lol

This is just another sad attempt by NBC to compete with American Idol.

If they were smarter, they should have gone with something like- Making a Band- like MTV did years ago.

We've already had this show and it's absolutely brilliant.

It's so refreshing and new, an absolute must-see.

I don't know how many times they're going to keep rehashing "Star Search". I'm really over all these reality shows. Network television seems to have run out of ideas. As it stands today, I'd rather watch "I Love Lucy" reruns.

That's exactly the reason why this show is so good.

It's nothing like all the other "star search" shows.

Go on and give it a try.

I find that hard to believe, based on what I've seen in the previews. HOWEVER, you've actually seen the show and I haven't. PLUS... I always want to keep an open mind about anything I haven't actually experienced for myself. So, that being said; I'll take your advice and give it a try. What do I have to lose, right?

Adam Levine is so hot, there is just no way I could miss an hour of staring at him!

I hope this will help jump start a Christina come back!

It's a dutch show, they had a lot of viewers here, but for me, it honestly didn't look much different than idols or something.

That's exactly what it looks like to me also (...from the previews). And I can't see how the actual show would make me see it otherwise, but I promised to watch it, and we'll see.

Okay, I just watched a 12-minute extended preview of the show that just aired on NBC, and I will admit that the show does seem to be set up differently than "American Idol". I liked the performance of "Crazy" by the 4 "coaches" at the start of the show, and the rules of the competition seemed more interesting, and more fair, than the other "Star Search" type shows.

Still, I wouldn't go so far as to say it's "nothing like" the other reality competition shows, but it was entertaining. And I did find it more interesting than "American Idol". Just wish Carson Daly had nothing to do with it, I can't stand the sight of that guy, lol.

But KUDOS to you for your recommendation. While I probably won't spend much time watching it, the show looks better than I expected it would. And I admire how you stood up for something you believed in, in spite of the doubts of virtually everyone else that responded.
