Who Vocals Are At The End Of "Computer Love"?

I hope it's Roger Troutman because it's one of the reason I adore him. Buy I heard people say it was Charlie Wilson. Roger was influenced by Stevie Wonder, and I could hear Stevie Wonder in the person whoevers singing.

It IS Charlie Wilson. Roger is singing with his talk box. I thought this was common knowledge. I get it you're young but damn lol

Haha I've studio footage of Roger singing, an his voice sound just like Charlie Wilson vocals at the end of "Computer Love".

So are there any songs with Roger using his regular voice?

Roger probably did that in fun but that ain't him lol

Here's songs I know Roger did in his normal voice:

  • Brand New Player
  • Do It, Roger (he uses the talk box in this too)
  • Maxx Axe
  • Be Alright (the parts where you hear "this little thing we got is gonna work out fine" is him)
  • Freedom
  • Coming Home (mostly backgrounds)
  • In the Midnight Hour (in some parts, but I'm talking of the 1993 "live recording", though I'm convinced that version was cut in the studio)

Just some examples. I think Roger did the talk box because he knew his original voice couldn't cut it. I think he admitted that in an interview several years ago as to why he used the talk box over his original voice.

I didn't even know he sung "Be Alright" one of my favorite songs.

Yeah but he wasn't the lead singer in that though. That goes to Bobby Glover. smile But Roger's parts were good too.
