Yes. I went to the show in Columbia, SC and they screwed Mint big time. Makes me wonder if it was home cooking for John Blackwell. Don't laugh at my funk

Mint Condition DID open for Prince in NYC on December 29th, 2010. Here's a clip from them performing their new single "Caught My Eye" at the NYC show. Stokley let loose at the end!

Makes me wish that they didn't have the technical issues in Columbia when I saw them.... Still haven't quite gotten over that.

I have seen some reviews from unhappy concertgoers citing disappointment that they "played rock and roll". I remember reading some folks saying that they did not like the way songs like Pretty Brown Eyes were played in "rock style" and that Stokley was on drums too long. I think some people expect to go to the show and hear the cds verbatim. | |
