Burt Bacharach teams up with... Dr. Dre (!?!)

Burt Bacharach joins Dr Dre
By SIMON WHEELER
Showbiz Reporter

LEGENDARY songwriter Burt Bacharach is teaming up with Eminem’s gangsta rapper pal Dr Dre for one of music’s strangest collaborations.

Bacharach, 74 — who penned a host of ’60s love songs for the likes of Dionne Warwick, Cilla Black and Sandie Shaw — is now working on samples sent to him by the foul-mouthed rap guru.

Millionaire Bacharach said: “He gave me these drum beats and told me to do what I like.

These won’t be like usual songs. These are like compositions, which is very interesting to me.”

Insiders say Dre plans an album of different music styles and was keen to enlist the talents of the man whose classics include Magic Moments, Make It Easy On Yourself and Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head.

Los Angeles-based producer Dre — real name Andre Young, 37 — gave Eminem his big break by working on his debut album The Real Slim Shady.

The source added: “I know it sounds strange, but their different styles work well together.”

10 Years ago Different but now?Nope.because Dre is a Industry Boy on Board of the Grammys&He is a Money making Machine&also has Proven his Value within the Biz.He is Raps Quincy Jones.Bacharach wants that West Coast Flow that Still Rules RAP&Always Will.Dre got everybody trying to get at Him still.the sad part of it is that it took him working with Eminem for Him to get that Pop Love when he was Smoking through much of the 90's but I guess better later than Never.
