Climie Fisher ~ Love Changes (Everything) You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton |

I love this one and "I Won't Bleed For You" "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world." |

I dug this one out the other day, along with "Rise to the occasion".
Brilliant pop. . |

I've done a few threads about this song over the years LOL. Nice to see someone else make one. Surprised the single did nothing in the US. And does anyone else think the singer Simon Climie sounds like Rod Stewart somewhat? (I think they offered him a song but he turned it down).
Love "room to move" and "rise to the occasion", but not their versions LOL. Animotion and Jermaine Jackson & Lala covered them alot better then the originals in my mind.

I think both Animotion, Jermaine and Lala's song and Climie Fisher's album all came out in 1988? So who knows what came out first LOL.
Now I need to find my 12" of "love changes everything". Track always reminds me of the super glossy "waiting for a star" by Boy meets girl. Same era, same summery vibe and super slick production.

"Waiting for a Star to Fall" is the epitome of an awesome pop track! And to think they submitted it to Whitney Houston before they decided to do it themselves. "Get up off that grey line" |

Yeah, the bridge in that song is sweet. Arif Mardin's magic touch on production. |
