Lady GaGa has unveiled the artwork for her upcoming album Born This Way.

The cover was shot by photographer Nick Night, who also directed the music video for her single of the same name.

In a series of posts on Twitter, the singer said: "Attention Little Monsters BIG NEWS; I will unveil the Born This Way album cover at 1am EST tonight. PUT YOUR PAWS UP! #BTWcover (sic)

"15 minutes. #BTWCover. 'Get your hot rods ready to rumble, cause' were gonna fall in love tonight' - HIGHWAY UNICORN (ROAD TO LOVE)."

GaGa recently described Born This Way as "heroin", saying that it's full of intense highs.

does it really matter what the cover looks like? its going to be a little 1 inch square on your mp3 or ipod

I feel like this is her protesting the fact that she had to release Judas early because it was leaked. So she's "leaking" this cover. Yet the actual album cover won't be revealed until the album comes out. This could perhaps be the biggest troll ever.

We brought this up in the Judas thread last night.

The song wasn't "leaked" per say. The debut was to be released April 19th but was released 4 days before to symbolize how Judas betrayed Jesus 4 days before Easter...According to "the bible" or wherever the story of Judas came from.

I know about the 2 minute clip, but everyone is saying it's no coincidence how the songs gets released 4 days early the same way Judas did Jesus 4 days early

She said: "I graphic designed the Judas single cover myself, in word, and photographed the image with my cellphone for texture." which was written in red letters as a designer speaks to her and HE says: "A lot of the things you've been doing in graphic design is... you created a giant DIY... "fuck you" to... almost the history of computer graphic design. Some modern DIY sexpistols shit. It's envigorating!"

Edit: I meant she didn't say the earlier quote, not the Harper's Bazaar quote. She did say that in that interview, too.

A grand total of twentyfour bucks was spent on that. This will be photoshopped ad nauseum.

I actually really like that cover, just not the font "Born This Way" is written in.

The cover reminds me of that Quentin Tarantino movie with Rose McGowan in it - Planet Terror. Remember she had a gun for a leg? Plus it kinda reminds me of Terminator 2 - remember the new Terminator was made of liquid metal?

That one Tweet Gaga did looked like it was song lyrics? The line that went "...we're gonna fall in love tonight", reminds me of the Prince song "Elephants and Flowers".

Some of them are like "why Gaga why?" Some think "it's great, stop hating". Others still are hoping that it's a fake.
