So I picked up P-Funks one release a month ago and after a while strted seeing and hearing differnt version of Hydraulic Pump.

There is the 12" version which is vocal and has more lyrics...and is named pt. 1 & 2

Then there is the album version which is more instrumental and standard

Then there is a version I downloaded from a blog called Pt. III that has a different take and added effects.

And where did pt. III come from?

Loved it If I'm not mistaken, Sly Stone co-produced/sang in that along with with "Generation Pop" and "Catch A Keeper".

I never understood why this released tanked, it was a solid album from start to finish.

Oh and yes, you gotta bring me up to speed to the Pt.III because I have no idea about it prior to now?

Guess I answered my own question...on the site it is the b-side of the single 12" version. Ill orgnote you...nowI didnt know P Funk All Stars album tanked!!
