Either way if he did, he didn't overdo it so good for him.

I am guilty of that myself. That's why I made this thread.
The funny part though, in my case is...I've always liked older men. My hubby is 16 years older than I am. His family was concerned when we got together because they thought he would have to try to keep up with me. The truth of the matter is my hubby is a Retired Marine Corp. Gunny that still roller-skates, bike rides, jogs, swims and dances his ass off. Shit!!! I'm wearing myself out...trying to keep up with his happy ass!
Anyhoo, back to Jackie.
Seeing now how fine he was and how well he's matured, it kinda makes me sad to think just how fine Michael actually would have turned out, had he not gotten caught up in the delusion of what beauty looks like.
I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Jackie will be 60 on that day.

I think he went the Prince Rogers Nelson route with that. Yeah, I said it.
They did it but only they and the plastic surgeons that did 'em...know for sure. LOL! I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Honestly, I don't believe I've ever heard Jackie speak, lol. That interviewer certainly is nosey though (..."how much money do you make?"), sheesh! He best believe, Michael was already making more than him, lol. And then Michael was like... Chores?!? What's that?!?
I love YouTube for this stuff!

Siggy ian an underrated songwriter. I wish the other brothers (Jackie, Tito and Randy) after VICTORY would have joined together an made a songwriting/producing team. Real talk, they could have challenged Jam & Lewis/LaFace team and Teddy/Gene. They had some nice material on their own in the late 80s' but together, it would have been even greater.
If you think about it, each of their productions were missing something that the other brother bought to the table. PRINCE: Always and Forever

Wow, this one minute clip probably revealed more to me about Jackie than I knew about him in my entire life. That shot of the 4 brothers at the end of the clip made me miss Michael even more though. Who would have ever thought that out of that entire family he would have been the first to go?

I agree! | |

Tito's productions were more guitar, bass heavy which considering he was a guitarist, is cool. Than Randy's were more melodic. You had different keyboards and sythns, with strings. Jackie was less production but more songwriting thous his productions were synth heavy.
For example, Time Waits For No One is Jackie and Randy. Tito's production from Steven & Sterlin like Can I Be With You Tonight or his solo cut on Victory.
Compare it with Jam and Lewis. You know which tracks were mostly Terry and which was Jimmy Jam.

Whoa I <3 Michael Jackson and I always wanted to more about his brothers' music...All I knew about Jackie Jackson was 1. He was a member of Jackson 5 and Jacksons... 2. Oprah wanted to marry him when she was little
That was about it so Thank u 4 this thread! [Edited 4/17/11 13:08pm]

I found that I had a lot of catching up to do when I noticed Jackie. I found his self-titled Jackie Jackson on vinyl and I purchased it on CD too. For a while I kept playing it repeatedly because I was just in awe, lol! "You need to laydown and let me show you how we do this thing up in funky town. From the heart of Minnesota here come the purple Yoda guaranteed to bring the dirty new sound! Come on, now!"
