Can we show Jackie Jackson some love, please? I think he was the neglected Jackson and I'm feeling really bad about that.

I was busy watching videos I've seen thousands of times before and all of a sudden it just hit me...

Jackie Jackson was one sexy ass motherfucker!

I was much too young to appreciate that at the time but I'm old enough now and I just had to speak on it!

Look at these videos and ignore Michael. Yes...I do know how hard that is but try it anyway! Focus on Jackie, damn it!

1. That's not a sticky for all things Jacksons other than Michael.

2. Jackie has been overshadowed by his family long enough. That is my whole point!

Jackie never had a fair chance and to be honest, it seemed like he was only in it for his younger, more musically inspired brothers, than he was for himself (and Joe saying "oh hell naw you ain't gonna be a baseball player" lol).

I think Jackie would've been better off singing falsetto in another group like the Delfonics or Stylistics.

Yeah, I think things may have turned out better for him had he been in another group.

I always felt that the Jackson family (the brothers in particular) never diversified themselves as much as they could have and Jackie is a perfect example of this.

First of all, Jackie has okay/decent vocals, but he's not in the same category as Michael and Jermaine who were the best vocalists in the group. He wrote and produce some decent cuts for the group but not strong enough to write for others or just being successful in the music biz.

He was and still is more of an athlete and dancer overall. Him, Marlon and Michael were the dancers in the group.

Jackie should've left the group, especially after the Triumph Tour, and gone into a different arena outside of music. One thing he never capitalized on was his body, that ripped, cut fitness body that attracts people. The 80s was that decade of folks being more fitness minded, fitness centers opening up and celebrities like Jane Fonda and others producing their on aerobic workout videos, and Jackie could've had his own industry with fitness center, aerobic videos (records and laserdisc back in the day).

Jackie is a very fine man...yes indeed! Sadly, it wasn't until after MJ's death that I noticed just how fine he has always been. So much focus was always on MJ that the brothers received the quick glance, at least in my case. I was perusing old Jackson family photos and my mouth dropped at the fine specimen named Jackie. It was truly an awakening, lol. A fine one at that! Too bad he's older than my father because I have NEVER considered dating an older man before.

I'm just GLAD Jackie didn't go the surgery route like his parents and other siblings lol still looks the same as he did when he first started (w/o the Afro of course ).
