And there's nothing wrong with being insecure with your looks and doing something about it. I had my ears pinned back because I hated them. They just didn't look good with the rest of my head. LOL Why do people have a vendetta against plastic surgery? Wearing makeup, dying/cutting hair, working out, tanning, etc are all processes that transform our appearance and nobody gives a fuck. But god forbid we pay to have something permanently fixed. Christ. I don't see how that is "promoting insecurity" as she calls it. If it is, then braces also promote insecurity.
