That is an interesting observation and could be a great discussion. What exactly do you think he could be getting Heat over? Was this video made prior to the use of "the N Word" as euphemism for what's really going on? "you raped my grandma." Good lord..lol WOW!

Not the best spoof ever, but not the worst. Chris is funny as hell.

One of his low points. It was originally going to be on his "Never Scared" album but either he or the label who released the album pulled it.

Chris tears black people a new set of assholes in his act too, so? shrug

I take it you're not familiar with Paul Mooney lol now, old man will make Chris Rock's act look like a scene from the Cosby show.

The "Niggas vs. Black People" monologue was classic. Paul's comedy act has gotten tiresome though. confused

Only when he films his shows(like the last one).

You should check his intimate shows, he improvises the hell outta his material and everybody in the room is in jeopardy of getting their ass called out lol

And nothing I love MORE than seeing some of the white audience get indignant and walk out in the middle of the show, making it worse for themselves because he will go out on them. I'm like, you paid to come see PAUL MOONEY in person, and baby, you know beforehand that you'll be walking into a nest of angry bees evillol

Paul Mooney seesm to me to have a more thoughtful cultural critique. Chris Rock seems to me like he's coonin.

Considering Paul grew up at a time of racial strife that was more open than the one Chris was exposed to, I can see why.

Nothing coonish about Chris, he just turned rich & lazy like Jerry Seinfeld and there's nothing to add.

But I agree, Paul never lost his edge. I remember hearing an interview he did for a college radio where he said that every once in a while he'll perform in front of an audience who have no idea about him so they could heckle him or boo him whenever he gets raw on them, I thought to myself "no wonder why the fuck you attitude didn't mellow with his age" lol

spit

He's SO dramatic, everything "is the fuckin' end of world" with him, I just love it lol I bet it wasn't the end of the world when he & Richard Pryor were raising madhouse hell in their heyday.

It reminds me of Adele Givens' bit about her grand mother who always used to say "we living in our last days". Adele shook her and said "Big momma, why the fuck WE gotta be living in our last days, you're 90 years, I bet WE weren't living in our last days when you were fuckin' granddady now did WE?" evillol
