I have this album. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton | |

Maybe I'll check this out at the library. The album before this one, the one that won the Grammy for album of the Year, I didn't enjoy at all.. | |

That album, 2 Against Nature", is my favorite. I listen to it at least once a week...

Yeah, their material before the 90's had a more organic feel...it's been a long time since acoustic piano based stuff like this:
Nice piano and vocal by Donald Fagen, and guitar solo by Denny Dias
