Stuart Zender's (ex-Jamiroquai) AZUR Project -w/ D'Angelo, Don E ...
Another album project that fell by the wayside, The AZUR project (1998) was the brainchild of ex-Jamiroquai Bassist Stuart Zender, together with UK vocalist Don -E, and guest artists like D'angelo, and bassist Pino Palladino...then the project got shelved..there's been talk of Zender putting it out, but to date, the album has never been officialy released--Zender did have a number of the tracks on his myspace page.....A track with D'angelo , called "So Cold" was eventually released on Don-E's 2008 album, "Natural".....

I love what I heard
Somebody put "So Cold" in a mixtape and sent it to me, by Don-E but it says that he played the fender rhodes in his version as. Love the title track

Talented musician, but I heard first hand about how he treated Melanie Blatt (All Saints) like shit, knocked her up, then disappeared after she had the kid and now doesn't want anything to do with them. Can't respect dude based on that. |

Melanie Blatt treated him like shit. She wanted to sleep with his boss (at the time JK) anyway I don't care for his personal life, I just llove him I like Jay Kay's weedy little voice.

I saw a recent performance where Stuart appeared on a children's show 'Zing Zillas',playing bass during a song called "The Banana Song".I know this sounds like a crazy idea,but Stuart's bassplaying is GREAT! He brought a little funkiness to this silly song,lol.
