Timbaland Introduces His Latest Protégé

Following in the footsteps of artists like Keri Hilson and the late Aaliyah, singer/songwriter Lyrica Anderson has been anointed with the Timbaland brand for success.

Lyrica has penned songs for several artists, including Beyonce, KeKe Palmer, Mya, Chris Brown and Jennifer Lopez, but now she is ready to step into the limelight and turn her penmanship into star power. To kick start, the California-born singer is featured on Timbaland's upcoming album and is the featured artist on his free download "Mentally."

"Music has always been in my blood…my mom used to tour with Chaka Khan, Luther Vandross and Tina Turner doing backup vocals, I’d pretty much be lost without music," says Lyrica.

Wouldn't it be crueler if her parents gave it to her? lol

Now I want to know who her mother is.

Someone ought to advise Timmy that "conversate" isn't a verb--or a real word. He either none the wiser or trying to keep it real. I think it's the latter.

What happened to her little girl. I remember getting a free sample CD of her single years ago. I believe I had just bought Brandy's "Afrodisiac" for like $5 bucks and on my way out the door, the girl behind the counter just handed me this sampler CD of Kiley Dean.
