Young Black Teenagers ~ Tap the Bottle You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

heh heh... i think they got away with what they did due to the hank shocklee connection. i remember when 'to my donna' came out. and the riff on the beatles cover was pretty funny, for their first album, which i actually remember more than their second.

I didn't know they made a second album. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

Well, I didn't know they made a first album then. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. I've seen this one before, but not the other. I don't know anything about either album, to be honest. I just remember the song, and assumed it came from this album. I didn't realize they made 2 albums. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
