Honestly i thought it was all dreadful, but not because people cant sing, but because IDOL cant instruct or arrange properly, not saying that they have to go out and carbon copy Elton, but damn who the hell instructed PIA to sing that way?? Love that girl and her body of course but clueless on what they are doing with her. I think she has the chops to do what Katharine McPhee did and is doing now on Verve Records, actually singing her own good songs, but im sure if she gets her deal the first record will try to turn her into a little sex kitten rb dance girl, which is what they did with Katharine Mcphee and no one could see it. But aside from that the group is pretty lame overall, and again i find it humourous that this show based on singing goes from Paula Abdul to Jennifer Lopez as judges, whats next Kim kardashian on vocal skills? Naima and Thia were voted off already. Paul is boring and needs to go next. He was in the bottom 3 but was saved. I think James and Pia may make it to the finals. There are 9 left. | |
