Looks like this will be a great year at the Essence Music Festlval you will get performances from three big some of the biggest acts in R&B & hip-hop from the 70's 80's 90's & today.

Among them R&B bands New Edition with all 6 members not as Bell Biv DeVoe or Heads Of State will perform with Ronnie, Bobby, Ricky, Mike, Ralph, & Johnny and unlike their 2006 performance Bobby will be onsatage with the group the whole time and dress in unision with them haha. Also groups Mint Condition, Boyz II Men, Blackstreet. Acts like Chaka Khan, Charlie Wilson, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Jennifer Hudson, Doug E. Frest, Naughty By Nature, Kanye West, & Trey Songz will perform at this years Essence Festival. Oh yeah Macy Gray, Marsha from Floetry, Miguel, Fantasia as well.
